I’m emailing you today to share my support for the future of AI in Britain.
 
AI is one of the biggest opportunities we have to grow our economy, create good jobs and deliver countless benefits across the NHS, schools and businesses. The countries that get the rules right will benefit most.
 
AI can transform our NHS, schools and public services - and save billions of pounds wasted on government admin we can spend on doctors, nurses and the police instead.
 
The UK has a choice. With clear, pro-innovation rules, Britain attracts billions of pounds in investment, creates jobs and improves our vital public services like the NHS and schools. 
 
But if we want AI-driven growth and jobs in Britain, we need laws that support it. Without a workable solution anchored around a text and data mining exemption, billions of pounds worth of investment - and the jobs that come with it - will be lost to countries like Singapore, Japan and the US.
